Cooking event at Ayakawa Town
For the 18th consecutive year, I was very honored to be asked by the Ayakawa International Association to invite some students to participate in the cooking event.
This year, three students from Bangladesh kindly offered their cooperation to cook some delicious dishes from their country. I hope they have enjoyed the experience of cooking and mingling with the local residents of Ayakawa Town. Thank you so much! (Lrong)

SEE Program 2016 @ Chiang Mai University
For the fifth year, we are very happy that Chiang Mai University has graciously agreed to host our program.
There are four students in the program, and I think they are enjoying themselves studying and learning both inside and outside of class.
We are right in the middle of the two week program, and come Monday, we proceed to the second week.

Joint closing ceremony for Sanuki Program, Japanese Studies Program
A joint closing ceremony was held for the six students who successfully completed their courses in the Sanuki Program, the Japanese Studies Program, and the Japanese Language Preparatory Program.
For the first time, we had the students presented their work which focused on a specific topic related to either Kagawa or Japan. This year, the topics were on the prefecture symbols, international students at KU, economic impact of udon, marriages in Japan, Japan towards Olympics 2020, and experiences of living in Kagawa.
The students did a very impressive job with their presentations. We are once again, indebted to the Bushozan International Association for providing the yukata for the students.
