The International Office organized a Somen noodle party ( 流し素麺パーティー) at the Hanazono Dormitory one Saturday morning (27th, June). The aim is to foster and encourage friendship between the dorm students and the members of the local community. The party turned out well and I believe the local residents who attended, left with a better understanding of the situation of the international students. Hopefully, if and when new students failed to dispose their garbage properly, the local residents will smile and advise the students accordingly...
