“MAINZ am Rhein” (Lunch Presentation Meeting Series #21)

Today, we had a presentation from WOEBER Jonas (Johnny), an exchange student from Germany. 

He talked about the city of Mainz, an old city situated be the River Rhein.
 






He highlighted the city is famous for being the place where the printing press was invented. 

The city is also well known for the Johannes Gutenberg University and the Mainz Cathedral.

According to Johnny, the people of Mainz like to enjoy going to clubs and parties.

There were 16 people in the audience, of which 7 were international students.

The Symbols of Kojima, Okayama (Lunch Presentation Meeting Series #20)

Hayato Morimoto, a freshman from the Agriculture Faculty, made a presentation on his hometown, Kojima.







He did a very commendable job presenting in English, focusing on the main symbols of Kojima such as the marine products and the manufacture of jeans.

There were 14 people in the audience, with international students making up half of it. Wan Bunna was the moderator.

Mad about Malaysia (Lunch Presentation Meeting Series #19)

Marcus Khoo, an international student from Malaysia who is enrolled at Kagawa University under the Teacher Training Program, gave a presentation on Malaysia.


Marcus focused on the food of Malaysia and introduced five popular dishes.



There were 19 people in the audience including 8 international students.
