Message from students (8th Garden Party @ Lrong Sensei's house)

Many thanks to Moses and friends for spending time to create this wonderful message of thanks to me for holding the 8th Garden Party. It was my honor and pleasure to be able to spend time with all these fine, young people. I hope to be able to host more of these parties to share the joy of simplicity... of friendship, and of course, to share a bowl of udon together... Once again, thank you to all students who came all the way to my humble abode...

8th Garden Party at Lrong Sensei's house

Once again this year, I invited a bunch of students to spend a day at my house. These students are mainly from the 10th batch of the Sanuki Program, plus students from some other programs, including some Japanese students as well. As in previous occasions, I bought all the ingredients, provided all the cooking utensils, furnished all the required firewood... The students had a good time cooking Sanuki Udon, creating a unique recipe that is found no where else. I also had the students cooked a red bean dessert. And the bonus was, I taught them to bake a lemon cake, using fresh lemon from my garden.

7th Garden Party (26th May 2018)

Hosted a bunch of international and Japanese students on 26th May 2018 at my garden.
There were over twenty of them, plus an old boy, and my work colleagues.
Showed them my vegetable garden, fruit trees, herbs, etc...
Used wood to start the fire... had the students chopped the vegetables... and we cook 'kenchin udon' (wheat noodles with broth from many vegetables, fish stock, and sea kelp).
Also cooked my dessert concotion of red beans plus sweet potatoes, brown sugar, and diced with coconut milk.
The students had a great day, there were full of smiles, and much inter-mingling among them.
Hope they had enjoyed themselves sufficiently...  (Lrong)
