Following the talk on Mexico, another Judo expert, this time from Brazil, made a presentation on his country.Twenty one students came to listen to the talk. This year, Kagawa University was lucky to host two Judo experts for training under the JICA program. We hope more can come in the future.

Udon making at Ayakawa town
For the eleventh consequtive year, I was requested by Ayakawa town to bring some international students for the Udon Making event.
This year, over 20 students from various faculties and nationalities agreed to join.
We visited a park high up in the hills to watch the aeroplanes taking off and landing at Takamatsu Airport.
After which, we adjorned to one of the community halls to cook the udon.
After the udon eating, we were entertained by a Japanese gentleman who sang some songs.

'Mexico' (Lunch Presentation Meeting Series #100)
Sixth Workshop with National Chiayi University
Kagawa University was honored to be the host for the joint 6th Workshop with National Chiayi University of Taiwan. Four faculty members and fourteen students came from NCYU to join the event. We hope the delegates enjoyed their time at Kagawa University, and we plan to visit them for the next workshop in 2018.
